• Berlin-Brandebourg Sciences University - Structure and transformation of the vocabulary of the Egyptian language: texts and knowledge in the culture of ancient Egypt.

The aim of the project is to compile a corpus of Egyptian texts allowing online vocabulary research throughout the history of the Egyptian language.

• CNRS - Karnak Project

Launched in January 2013, the Karnak project (CNRS - Labex ARCHIMEDE, ENiM Team) aims to organize and make accessible the textual documentation from the temples of Karnak.

• Labex Archimède University Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3

The ARCHIMEDE Laboratory of Excellence aims to promote scientific excellence and technological innovation, to guarantee the educational excellence of training, the promotion of scientific results, the transfer of knowledge and thus to become a major player in research and training devoted to Archaeology and History of the Mediterranean and Egypt, from Prehistory to the Middle Ages. It brings together teacher-researchers, researchers and engineers from the Paul-Valéry Montpellier 3 and Perpignan Via-Domitia Universities, the CNRS, the Ministry of Culture and Communication and INRAP, as well as other institutional partners (local authorities) or private partners (companies involved in preventive archaeology or heritage development).

• Thesaurus Linguae Aegyptiae

In the Thesaurus Linguae Aegyptiae (TLA), you’ll find a wide variety of writings, from terse labels to extensive narratives, produced by Egyptian scribes and recorded on the walls of temples and tombs, on stelae, papyrus, and ostraca, on tomb equipment, tools, vessels, and instruments. Explore the earliest religious texts of humankind, read ancient letters, tales, netherworld texts, or an early state treaty, try to comprehend ancient mathematics, astronomy and magical practices, find out about treatments undertaken by Egyptian physicians. The TLA provides the worldwide largest electronic corpus of lemmatized Egyptian texts transliterated from hieroglyphic, hieratic, and Demotic records, with Coptic as a planned addition in the near future. The TLA offers two core tools for searching the Ancient Egyptian text world and its vocabulary, the text corpus and the lemma lists.

• VégA

The VÉgA allows to model and represent the evolving knowledge in ancient Egyptian, by grouping and cross-referencing words, their attestations, their references, their hieroglyphic spellings, as well as by creating links to documentary bases corresponding to the texts concerned. The VÉgA is accessible online, via a simple internet browser. It does not require any additional installation. Its interface was tailor-made for Egyptologists and allows them to consult and create interactive notices simply and quickly.
